Dream A Little Dream of Me Reimagined

'Dream a Little Dream of Me Reimagined' is a new short music-film remix celebrating the dynamism of 30s film choreography, the opulence of the sets, and the versatile talent of the featured stars.

It was created as part of the Internet Archive’ Public Domain Remix Contest 2026 where it received an honorable mention and screened at the archive’s headquarters in San Francisco on January 21, 2026.

It is a celebration of music and film and shows that even in these uncertain times, we're still dreaming, still making music, still creating, proving that making art is medicine for the soul and that our creativity is as resilient as the human spirit itself. 

I re-imagined the classic song 'Dream a Little Dream of Me,' in which I played a stripped-back version of the melody and introduced electronic sounds that visually represent the moving images. Sultry visages are bleeps, tap dances are kick drums, and the snake-like movement of an undulating arm follows the upbeat melody... 

From the music to the editing, no AI was used in any part of the creative process- long live human-made art!
