audio clean-up & Restoration
Your Story Should not suffer because of sub-optimal audio, I can help you fix it
Examples
‘The Art of Puppetry’ Documentary Film
The Challenge:
Group Interviews were recorded with a camera-mounted shot-gun mic which lead to the recording of excess room-tone.
The heating in the room was running, causing a constant hum, muddying the voices.
One of the participants was sitting on a creaky wooden box, the sound of which needed to be minimized.
The levels at which each participant was speaking varied and needed to be manually adjusted.
The Solution:
The audio clean-up process included removing reverb and adjusting the dialogue for clarity.
Meticulous audio post-production and dialog clean-up was performed using the variety of modules within Izotope RX including de-noise, de-hum, de-reverb, etc.
Audio levels were manually adjusted for an even and pleasant hearing experience without jarring jumps in volume and leveled in compliance with standard European Broadcast Union guidelines.

Artist interview
The Challenge:
The interview was recorded with an onboard camera mic in a room with a lot of reverb.
Noise caused by people in the background as well as ambient noise reduced the clarity of the conversation.
Peaking levels caused distortion in certain points of the audio.
The Solution:
Careful and surgical approach to reducing the reverb, while aiming to retain a natural sound.
Noise-reduction performed by detailed analysis of problem areas and targeted application.
Restoration of vocal integrity through EQ-ing.
Audio levels were manually adjusted for a more even volume and leveled in compliance with standard European Broadcast Union guidelines.
